Scent care
Reed diffuser care.
A few simple habits can help your diffuser perform beautifully and last longer.
01 Start with fewer reeds
Begin with five reeds and add more if you prefer a stronger scent. More reeds create a fuller fragrance but use the oil more quickly.
02 Choose the right spot
Place your diffuser in an open area with gentle airflow. Avoid direct sunlight, windows, and air-conditioning vents that speed evaporation.
03 Flip with care
Flip reeds over a protected surface when the scent feels faint. Wipe spills immediately, as fragrance oil may mark delicate finishes.
04 Keep it fresh
Replace saturated or dusty reeds when using a refill or changing scents so the fragrance can travel cleanly through the fibers.
Candles
Candle care.
A little care keeps every burn calm, consistent, and considered.
01 Light the wick, not the wax
Hold the flame close to the wick just long enough to light it, then remove and safely extinguish the match. Let the candle’s own flame melt the wax surface; do not hold a burning match against the wax.
02 Enjoy a 1–2 hour burn
Our recommended burn time is between 1 and 2 hours. Use your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, fans, and air-conditioning vents. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
03 Cool, then trim
After extinguishing, let the candle and wax cool completely before touching the wick. Trim off excess wick with a wick trimmer or small scissors, leaving approximately 4 mm. Remove any loose wick debris before the next use.
04 Extinguish gently
Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame after use. Check that the wick is fully extinguished, and allow the candle to cool before moving it. Never use water to extinguish a candle.
05 Always stay nearby
Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep it away from curtains, bedding, and other flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.
